Research and policy analysis on human rights, life, family and freedom.
About the project
Italy–Lithuania Reports explores policy developments and public debates in Italy and Lithuania, with a focus on life, family, freedom. The project brings together comparative research, documentary analysis and media monitoring to support informed discussion and cooperation between the two countries.
Research priorities
Life and human dignity — Policy debates and initiatives concerning the protection of human life and dignity.
Family policy — Support for families and parents, demographic challenges and relevant public policies.
Freedom and human rights — Freedom of expression, conscience and religion, alongside emerging questions concerning cognitive liberty and mental integrity.
Reports
The first reports are in preparation. Published reports will be listed here with their title, publication date, authors, abstract and a downloadable English-language PDF.
Methodology
The project aims to use traceable sources, including official documents, legislation, institutional publications, academic research and selected media coverage. Reports will distinguish documented facts from interpretation, identify the period covered and acknowledge relevant limitations of cross-country comparisons.
Each report will identify its authors and sources. Corrections and substantive updates will be dated so that readers can identify the version they are consulting.
